THE MIRACLE OF VETIVER
The roots of the non-invasive vetiver plant improve the structural and mechanical properties of the soil through interpenetration and entanglement, providing soil stablization.
Drought and fire resistant, vetiver also has substantial carbon sequestration properties, and its roots remove nitrates, phosphates and heavy metals from the soil.
Vetiver mulch controls weeds, improves soil moisture, reduces soil erosion, reduces soil temperatures, improves soil organic matter, and has been reported to prevent fungal diseases in specific plants.
Known for its medicinal and essential oil properties. Vetiver has also been used by some of the world's finest perfumers, featured in fragrances such as:
Vetiver by Guerlain
Grey Vetiver by Tom Ford
Eau Sauvage Parfum by Dior
Encre Noire by Lalique
I'M CURIOUS ABOUT GEORGE
Based on the history of the house and land.
During Covid, host Meike Kopp purchased a lone house on a hill (with, quite literally, raptors circling it), filled with the contents of another person’s life. The house was overflowing with a thousand books, photos, old love letters, oracle decks, and all the artifacts of a life lived, from the now deceased owner, the mysterious George.
Curiosity in overdrive, she scoured through his objects, becoming like an archeologist discovering Tutankhamen’s tomb or a forensic detective (without an actual murder). Intent on discovering who George was, and why, as she peeled back layer upon layer of his life, like a key to a magic portal, weird coincidences began to happen within her own life, and her visitors begin reporting interactions with a ghost.
With the help of co-host and collaborator, Cristina Lopez, the two explore George’s world via his objects and his fascination with religion, UFO’s, and psychic phenomena, and how the boundaries between two very different lives can become blurred when opening a pandora’s box of clues.

The California Agave Alliance
We are an emerging collective of California Agave industry professionals dedicated to creating an honest and inclusive platform that empowers agave growers, handlers, and distillers. Our goal is to foster a healthy, sustainable, and equitable agave industry that amplifies the voices of all participants, especially small farmers and growers who were excluded from the creation of AB 2606. Through collaboration, education, and support, we aim to elevate the agricultural and ecological integrity of the agave industry, ensuring long-term success for all stakeholders.
